A Photo and a Song

This is a follow-up to my previous post, "A Place for the Other."

Here is the photo ~

Here is the song, "Somewhere," albeit the lyrics, from the musical, West Side Story ~

There's a place for us,
Somewhere a place for us.
Peace and quiet and open air
Wait for us
Somewhere.

There's a time for us,
Some day a time for us,
Time together with time spare,
Time to learn, time to care,
Some day!

Somewhere.
We'll find a new way of living,
We'll find a way of forgiving
Somewhere . . .

There's a place for us,
A time and place for us.
Hold my hand and we're halfway there.
Hold my hand and I'll take you there
Somehow,
Some day,
Somewhere!

I would also like to point readers to Monday's On Religion Forum piece in USA Today, "Division vs. Unity" by Eboo Patel that is posted here.

Patel ends his piece saying, "In America, everyone has a place. In America, we are better together."
